Hair grooming starting with a bare grey 3D model. Using proprietary software to create and shape hair curves , and moving onto nvidias hairworks for unreal4. Painting variation maps in substance painter to style and cut the hair using maps.
Shading of the body, lighting and final look development of the character considering real-time limitations while pushing visual fidelity for the mascot system which needs to support real-time animation.
